Lyn is a media browser utility created for users who are looking for an alternative to using Mac's Finder app to go through their photo and video directories. This application works with a wide variety of image and video formats, provides you with an easy way to share your favorite pictures and clips, and helps you easily manage your media files.
You can use this program to preview, edit, rename, and convert images from your local folders. All of the settings are very simple to configure, so, you don't need to be a power-user in order to handle this utility on your Mac. The app also provides you with the option to preview your image directories in slideshow mode.
Another useful feature is the ability to batch convert your pictures between multiple file formats. The program lets you export your favorite photos to formats such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, OpenEXR, PICT, PSD, SGI, TIFF, and many others.
The app is also packed with a built-in search utility, an option to share your media files via various services (email, Facebook, Flickr, etc.), support for drag-and-drop actions, and so much more.
To be honest, I can't find a single bad thing to say about this utility. It provides you with many useful features, works flawlessly, supports many media formats, and comes with an affordable price.
