Lost Souls: Enchanted Paintings is a hidden-object game developed for Mac users who enjoy spending their spare time by solving puzzles on their computers. The storyline revolves around a distraught mother who is looking for her missing son through a series of bewitched paintings.
Your objective is to accompany the mother in her search and collect as many clues as you can to help her find her son. You will explore various locations where you will need to solve various puzzles or find hidden objects from a scene.
Personally, I really like the fact that in order to unlock a new chapter you have to clean dusty paintings. Afterwards, you can start exploring the scenes and solving puzzles.
The app also provides you with plenty of useful hints, various types of challenges (at some point, you need to connect stars to resemble zodiac signs), and much more.
The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that it displays poor graphics when playing the cinematics. For instance, when a character is offering you information, the sound and video aren't synchronized and the artworks look unimpressive.
Nonetheless, if you take into consideration the amount of money you could spend on this game and that Lost Souls: Enchanted Paintings offers you many challenging puzzles, I'd say it's definitely worth a try.
- Gives you access to many puzzles
- Nicely-drawn artworks
- Allows you to create multiple player profiles
- Automatically saves your gameplay progress
- Available in many languages
- Poor graphics when it comes to cinematics
