Live Coloring Book is an app designed for children. The program features colorful artworks, plays a jolly background music, provides you with plenty of useful instructions, and automatically saves your progress.

This app was designed in a way that any kid can easily handle. The built-in help guide might also come in handy as it helps you learn how to use the drawing tools, undo painting modifications, change the image, and much more.

Your kid can select the preferred tool (pencil or brush) and shade, undo previous image alterations, and even remove all colored paint from the picture. The application automatically saves your progress. So, if you close the program and relaunch it, you can resume painting from where you left off.

Unfortunately, the utility features a small amount of pictures (5 paintings). If you wish to have access to additional images you need to install other apps created by the same developer, Nikita Bedunkevich. These programs can be found on Mac App Store, some with price tag, others for free.

Another thing that bothers me about this app is the fact that you cannot access other running programs while Live Coloring Book is launched. Also, it lacks windowed mode.

Briefly, this utility offers your kid a fun way to spend time on a computer. It plays a nice, fitting background music and has nice paintings. Plus, it's free. I'd say it's worth giving it a try and then decide if you want to buy and install other apps from the same developer.
