JPEG4Web is an image editor that lets you easily optimize your photos. As the name suggests, the app was designed to let you optimize your JPEG images so that you can use them on websites. There are quite a few operations that you can do with JPEG4Web, but certainly, the star of the show is its ability to let you resize images.
To start, you have to drag and drop the images that you want to process onto the application. They will be listed in the left with small snapshots, and when you click on one it will be loaded onto the main pane to the right. At the top of the screen, you will find the different settings: Rotate, Crop, Size Settings, Advanced Settings and Batch Process. As I mentioned, size settings are the most important setting in my opinion. You can either resize images based on a quality percentage or by set them to fit a certain pixel number. Both options are adjusted with sliding bars and the results are shown in real-time, so that you don't have to waste your time doing previews. All the other options are also useful, especially the Batch Processing, which applies your size settings to a batch of photos automatically.
In short, JPEG4Web is a nice application that can help you resize your images, rotate them, crop them, and apply changes to multiple pictures at once.
Folder Size Catalog provides at-a-glance view of your folders and folder sizes so that you can easily check the distribution of your disk space.
