Journler is a personal journaling program for the Mac. It was thought for writers but includes quite a lot of advanced features that allow you to input your thoughts and experiences in a lot of different ways. The application also has a very advanced system for storing and accessing journal entries.
When you first run the application, you will see that there a few entries already available. This is a sample journal that was added to let you know a bit about the applications features, and I think it is a great way of connecting with users. Each of the entries deals with a different feature. For example, there is an entry that includes an audio recording that you can play from within Journler. You can also record from within Journler when it is you who is making the entries. There are other posts that illustrate folders, tagging and checking and GTDing. Make sure to read these entries before you start using the application.
Journler makes it easy to add new entries and manage existing ones and I think that is its most important feature. There are nice search and filtering options available as well.
