iSkysoft iPad Video Converter lets you play videos on your iPad. It is a multi-format video converter that can open the most popular video formats and convert them into formats that can be played by the Apple iPad and most other Apple products, and other brands' as well.
In terms of design, although it still looks like a Windows app, the converter looks better than other converters that I have recently tried. There is a video player that works well and you can edit your videos. You can trim and crop them and add effects to them.
iSkysoft iPad Video Converter does a great job of converting video files. I tested it with an MKV file and converted it to the iPad MP4 format. The app took a little over a minute for a 2-minute clip, which isn't entirely bad. The resulting file played well on my iPad and it should play fine on most computers as well.
All in all, this is one of the best commercial converters for iPad right now.
