iRC is a native IRC client for MacOS X, with a large number of useful features, including:
- Fully native Objective C/Cocoa application
- Plugin architecture allows plugins to be written in Objective C
- AppleScript plugin allows further plugins to be implemented via AppleScript
- DCC support for chat and files (send, receive and resume)
- mIRC-style colour support, as well as flexible colouring of messages
