Infinite Algebra 1 is a utility designed for Math teachers who wish to easily create algebra tests for their students. The program is packed with a wide variety of exercises, lets you merge assignments in a single quiz, and allows you to print your tests directly from its interface.
The main window of the application is split into 3 squares: on the upper left side of the screen you will find the exercise categories, on the bottom left you will see the current question sets (the ones you added to your test), and the remaining panel will contain the quiz you create. The utility lets you combine multiple types of exercises into one test, toggle multiple choice option, and configure page arrangement settings according to your needs.
All you need to do in order to add content to your test is to double click over the preferred exercise group, configure the equation settings, and click the OK button from the upper side of the screen. The application allows you to choose between 3 difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, and Hard), 2 question types (Free Response or Multiple Choice), number format (Integer, Fractions or Decimals), etc. You can always alter these options; just right-click over the exercise you wish to modify -> Change Options For Set.
All in all, this tool is very simple to handle. You can easily create the tests you need and immediately print them for your students. However, the program lets you export your quizzes to only one output format that's compatible only with the Infinite Algebra 1 app. This aspect might be an important disadvantage to some users (for instance, if you need to send a test via email to a user who doesn't have Infinite Algebra 1 installed on her/his Mac).
Another thing that might bother you is that it's a bit pricey. However, the developers provide you with a fair offer if you wish to acquire the school campus app package.
In conclusion, Infinite Algebra 1 proves to be a reliable solution for Math teachers who are looking for a simple and efficient way to design tests for their students.
