iMacsoft DVD Creator 2.6

iMacsoft DVD Creator is a DVD authoring application. It allows you to convert your video files to VOB files and then burn them using the built-in DVD burner.

If you don't want to use the included burner, you can save your movie to an ISO image or to a DVD folder (filled with IFO and VOB files).

This application should be able to open and work with AVI, MPEG, DAT, MPG, WMV, ASF, MP4, H261, H264, DV, 3GP, 3G2, FLV, RM, RMVB, MKV and VOB files. In my testing, I used an XviD file and it was opened just fine.

After loading a file, there are a couple of things that you can do. The application comes with a few menus that you can use with your movie file. The menu will be launched as soon as you start playing your movie, and if you included more than one video file in your compilation, there will be links to those files. You can add music and different pictures, and even a short text. The available menus all have different themes, but there isn't a single plain menu. So, if you don't mind having a Kung Fu Panda menu added to your movie, then this shouldn't be a problem. After you have chosen a menu (if you want; this is optional), you can resize the image or trim your video. And that is about all you can do.

The app seems to work well, but I saw it freeze and crash on me twice when I aborted the conversion process.
