Go for Gmail 2.1

Go for Gmail is a simple Menu Bar utility that provides you with a quick way to check your Google email account.

This program comes as an alternative to launching your default browser to find out if you have any unread emails in your Gmail account or to send messages to other people.

The application will place its icon in your Menu Bar. By clicking it, you will reveal the main window of the program where you can log in to your personal Gmail account and check your unread messages.

Go for Gmail provides you with various settings for changing the appearance of its interface (select another font size, remove ads, and adjust opacity level). You can also define a global hotkey for immediately showing the main window of the program.

Another good aspect about this helpful utility is that you have access to the mobile display mode. The menu of the application is nicely structured and you can easily complete your tasks. In a previous release, you couldn't log out from your email account while the mobile display mode was enabled. This issue was fixed and now you can easily log out from your account and authenticate using other Gmail credentials.
