Compare, merge, edit and synchronize multiple files or folders. Access an advanced differencing engine to look for specific items, work with multiple text editors to change data parameters and documents. Compare various outputs and formats, save and analyze differences.

DeltaWalker lets you compare files and folders. Unlike other comparison tools, this one actually compares the contents of the files and not just their properties. Luckily, it supports multiple types of files, including text and images. One of the best advantages of the app is precisely its graphic user interface, which facilitates finding the desired function.

Moreover, you can even split your workspace in up to three panels, which is very convenient to visually compare the elements. In this respect, it is excellent that the app lets you spot the differences more easily by highlighting them. Then, it is possible to make any corrections, such as merging, replacing or deleting the unmatching parts. Likewise, you are allowed to save reports of the comparisons as XML or HTML files, to make sure they can be read on any computer, even if DeltaWalker is not installed.

In general, I am sure DeltaWalker can save a lot of effort to various types of professionals, such as researchers, translators, writers, legal clerks, code reviewers and engineers, who would otherwise need to do the comparison work manually. Its worst drawback is probably that it takes longer than other similar tools to analyze large files. The product can be tried at no cost, so do not miss the opportunity to see if it is what you are looking for. It is available in three licenses: Standard, Pro and Oro.
