Clipboard Center lets you expand the possibilities of your system’s clipboard. In this regard, the application avoids the clipboard’s limitation of storing only the most recent element, as it keeps a history of all the text segments, images and files you have been copying instead. Thus, any of these items can be loaded to the clipboard again.

The application has an easy-to-use interface. It runs almost unnoticeable from the menu bar. So, if you want to access the list of copied items, you should click on the icon there. Moreover, you can adjust its window’s behavior in relation to mode and position. In this regard, it can appear just below the icon, as a free window or as a sidebar.

Capturing items occur automatically whenever you copy anything. However, this can also be done manually if you drag any items from the active application and drop them onto Clipboard Center. Reversely, it is possible to drag an entry and drop its contents on any other app.

Fortunately, the items are shown as thumbnails, which facilitates identifying their contents. Not only that, it allows previewing the selected item. Besides, the history may show the items as a simple list or grouped according to the application that originated them or by type. What is more, the desired items can be labeled and sent to separate lists. Last but not least, you can even search for specific elements by entering keywords. Unluckily, it is not possible to pin some elements so that they do not get overwritten by new entries.

It is excellent that, to preserve your privacy, you can toggle clipboard watch off. Moreover, it is possible to add specific applications to a blacklist so that no copy operation done from within them is recorded by Clipboard Center. Similarly, the application can be set to capture certain types of contents only. Besides, you can always delete unwanted entries.

All in all, Clipboard Center can have a positive impact on your productivity by allowing to paste previously copied elements. The product can be tried at no cost, so do not miss this opportunity to check if it is what you have been looking for.
