Cleaner One is a system optimization tool designed to help you find and remove all junk and large files that clutter your disk and slow down your computer. In addition, it provides you with a disk map view that lets you analyze your drive's structure in order to regroup and delete unnecessary files and folders.
The application has an attractive and intuitive interface that any user can manage without any hassle. Cleaning your disk of junk files is done easily. First, you need to scan your computer for junk files, view the results, and select which categories of files or which items within a category you wish to remove. The Application Caches and the Application Logs are selected by default, yet you can uncheck them manually, inspect their content for a partial selection of files to delete and/or choose other categories of junk files to clean. You are provided with useful information regarding the total size of identified items and the resources you are about to regain after removing the selected files.
The Big Files module performs a scan of files larger than 10 MB. Unfortunately, you don't have the option to search for custom sizes, which can make the scan process take a bit longer. By default, the results are displayed starting with the largest file, yet you can change the filter to view them by date or file type. If among the results there are important files you definitely want to keep, you can move them to a white list to prevent accidental deletion. Another good thing about this program is that it gives you the choice to remove items either to Trash or permanently.
An interactive disk map allows you to browse folders and subfolders with ease for a manual selection of the items to delete. At each browsing stage, the app displays handy information, like the date of creation, the size taken on the disk, and when the item was last modified and opened.
With a clear-cut user interface and straightforward file scanning and removing procedures, Cleaner One is an optimal solution for retrieving valuable disk space and, consequently, for improving your system performance.
