Bubble Buster is an entertaining puzzle game for Mac that provides you with a wide range of challenging levels. Your goal is to pop the adjacent bubbles of the same color, and complete the missions' assignments before you run out of time or moves. The faster you complete the given tasks, the higher your final score will be.
The app brings an interactive interface making it appealing to children thanks to its nice underwater theme. The level map is divided into four categories (Shallows, Coral Reef, Antarctica, and Sand Cave), each with different settings and mission types (eliminate items, gather points, etc.).
Personally, I like the fact that the application allows you to start with any of the four level categories, or with the additional game modes (Infinite, Eliminate, and Timed). There are also some in-app purchases available that can give you extra lives or moves.
An important disadvantage of Bubble Buster is that it clears previous game progress, therefore, when you close the app and relaunch it again, you start playing from scratch. In addition, you can't control the sound volume, only turn it on/off and when selecting the Eliminate mode, the app immediately shuts down.
Even though the app comes with some significant flaws, I still believe that it's worth giving this game a try, especially since it's free.
