Mystery P.I. - The Curious Case of Counterfeit Cove is a hidden-object game in which you are a detective who has been hired to stop the counterfeit of bills. Throughout the game, you will visit multiple scenes in which you will need to find the objects listed as well as clues that help you find the suspects. Apart from the objects on the list, there is also a lobster and a key hidden in each location. Find them all to unlock two other modes. After each level, there is a puzzle game, which you can skip if you want.
The objects in the scenes are perfectly camouflaged with the environment, so it is not so easy to find them. Some objects are listed in a tricky way (not exactly by their names) or in some cases you need to drag a certain object onto another to obtain a result. If you cannot find some objects, you can use the hints, which are unlimited but take some time to recharge. However, there are big penalties for using the hints, random clicking and skipping puzzles. The game offers nice graphics and sounds, and pleasant music.
