Bookpedia is an application that allows you to keep track of your Books. It is also a good tool for organizing them and gathering information about them. One of the benefits of cataloging your books with Bookpedia is that it can gather information about them automatically from the Internet. When you add a book, Bookpedia looks for it on Amazon first, and it can list its author, publisher, genre, format, release date, price, pages, and a summary of it. It will save that information for you and you can access it in the future just by clicking on the books name in your database.
There are some interesting features of this app that I would like to tell you about. The first one is its ability to use your iSight camera to add books to your database. The app will allow you to scan the barcode of your books and instantly download the relevant information from the Internet. Another cool feature is that it allows you to track who you are borrowing your books to. By simply clicking on the "Borrow" button, you can set a name and a date, so that you no longer forget who you borrow your books to.
If you use or have used Delicious Library, Bookpedia can import your book database automatically.
