After you select the preferred game options, you can start playing pool. You can use your mouse for moving the cue and hitting the balls. Unfortunately, you cannot save your progress for later. Also, you won't be able to change options without losing the progress of the current match.
Other annoying aspects include the fact that the app occasionally runs slow and the game provides you with only one view mode (from the top of the table).
In my opinion, you should try a different app to test your pool playing skills on your Mac. You can also look for online pool games on your default web browser. They're dozens and provide you with more features than this Mac game.
