Billiards 7.0

Billiards is a game that lets you play 3D pool on your Mac. The game features a 3D pool table that you roam around using your mouse.

You can play different varieties of the game, including the popular 8-ball game. With the right mouse button, you can place the white ball and zoom and pan around the table. With the left mouse button, you control the shots. After the white ball is placed, you can click and hold on it to start your shot. The game will show you a colored bar that will represent the strength of your shot before you take it. You will also see the trajectory of the white ball and that of the first ball that it touches. With these, you can calculate a big part of your shots.

From the Settings window, you can change the way the game is played. You can choose the game type. The available options are 9 Ball, 8 Ball, 3 Balls, Straight and Snooker. You can also change the mode. By default, you play in practice mode, but you can start a match against the computer or go online. There are a few customization options for the table and the cloth used.

In my testing, Billiards proved to be a fun game to play. The game mechanics were easy to understand and the game was smooth. I missed some controls like spin and vertical adjustments of the cue, though.
