Bigasoft Total Video Converter is a commercial video converter. It can be used to convert video files between several video formats.
In my testing, I converted a sample MKV file into a MOV file, preserving both resolution and aspect ratio. The conversion process took half of the length of the file. In my case, the sample file was 1-minute long, and the process took a bit under 30 seconds. The resulting file looked good, although I saw some pixelation.
The graphical user interface is not the best thing about this app. I can't say anything about the layout, because I praise other commercial converters that use the same layout, but the overall design, especially the design of the conversion profile menu, leaves a bit to be desired. My main problem with that menu is that the icons are too big, and you have to scroll quite carefully to find the format that you are looking for.
This converter comes with every feature I could only expect from a commercial video converter. There is a video player, a video editor, and lots of conversion profiles for several devices.

Not a free ! Just a "trial" version. Clips over 5 mins - only converts 5 mins. Clips under 5 mins - only 1/2 of that clip converted. It's ok that it's a trial version, but I didn't see that written anywhere. Just would have been nice to know.
