beaTunes is an app that helps you organize and tidy up your iTunes library. It can scan your songs and determine wrong song names, dates, or categories.

It does all of this automatically, and then it informs you of problems and gives you different solutions.

Problems with your library may arise when you add new songs, so beaTunes can also scan new songs to make sure they don't conflict with other songs already on your iTunes library. It can also scan individual playlists.

When I installed beaTunes, I had quite a few different problems with my music files. I had several different songs by the same author and which belonged in the same album, but they all had different release dates. Another issue I encountered was with songs from the same artist but different genre. This is an issue that can either be resolved by changing the genre, or if the genres are right, you can simply ignore it, and tell beaTunes not to bother you again with this.

The trial version of beaTunes can scan your library and identify all the issues with it. However, you can't use it to solve any problems.
