Batch Unpacker is an OS X application that checks for, and if necessary, unpacks the bitstreams of AVI video files.

This relatively quick process can very often cure a "stuttering" problem that can occur when AVI video files with packed bitstreams are played on DivX enabled DVD players. This stuttering can be observed as a jerkiness when the camera pans in the movie.
