Avocode is intended to help you build your applications exactly as they look in the design. In this respect, the tool supports opening, sharing, inspecting and collaborating on Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop. To help you start with your project, there is a wizard. In this respect, various platforms, web, iOS and Android, are supported.
The application has a nice interface with a layout that responds to its workflow. Thus, in addition to automatically creating the code and specifications for your project type, Avocode also allows you to manage your designs.
Luckily, the tool can export assets and produce specs. So, besides the main canvas section, there is the left panel to scale, rename and export layers. For instance, by selecting one or various layers, the app can automatically generate the necessary code, including CSS, Sass, Stylus, Swift, Android, Less, SCSS or React Native. Likewise, they can be exported in different formats, including PNG, JPG and SVG. Moreover, it can export colors to various palettes, like HEX, HEX8, RGBa, HSL, and UIColor. It is a same, though, that the tool does not support using global style guides.
All in all, Avocode certainly makes turning design concepts into actual applications a quicker and more accurate process. It also facilitates sharing ideas among all the members of the development team. It offers syncing, storing and sharing designs on the cloud. In this respect, it can be set to notify project collaborators whenever a change is made.
