ALZip is a simple application for Mac that helps you extract the contents of your archive files. This program supports formats like ALZ, ZIP, EGG or RAR, immediately offers you the results you require, and uses a small amount of CPU resources while processing the input files.

All you need to do is to select the archive you wish to decompress, or drag-and-drop it over the app's interface, then choose a destination folder for the extracted files, and wait for the results. After a few moments, the program will give you direct access to the directory containing the extracted content.

An advantage of working with this application is the fact that it supports formats less popular than the ones most of us know. For instance, the program lets you decompress ALZ and EGG files which are frequently used in Korea.

Even though this app supports more formats than Mac's default unzip program (Archive Utility), it's still not the best solution for extracting the contents of archive files. You can find dozens of similar applications that work with more archive formats, provide you with additional features, and don't cost a dime. As a consequence, I'd suggest you to try other programs when it comes to extracting the contents of your archive files.
