Aimersoft iPad Video Converter is a commercial video converter. It was designed to let you convert your video files into formats that play well on the iPad and other Apple devices like the iPod Touch, iPhone, and AppleTV. Of course, the files that you convert with this tool will be playable on most modern computers as well.
This app sports a regular-looking graphical interface. It isn't flashy, but it does the job well. I like the color scheme and how basic it looks, since it gives you all you need in one window. There is a video player for quick video playback and a video editor to crop, trim your videos and adjust their brightness and saturation.
Input format support is very good. I was able to open MKV and DivX files with no problems at all. The video editor and the player did a good job of processing them, too. In my testing, I converted files to MPEG-4, and I was surprised to see the omission of H.264 as a supported format. All the files that I converted with this tool looked great, and I didn't notice any video or audio problems.
In short, this is a basic commercial converter. It has limited output format support, but it works very well.
