Info updated on:

Aggregator is a lightweight Mac application that was developed with the sole purpose of helping you group any files that you might have stored in your system in an instant, based on their external attributes. This tool can prove to be quite useful, especially if you want to organize a large number of files, all placed in the same folder.

Using the Aggregator is very easy. After launching this small application you will be greeted by a simple and minimalistic interface that will provide you with the necessary information so that you can group your files. Simply drag-and-drop the desired folder directly to the interface (or select the folder location from the "File" menu) and select the path where they will be stored. It is simple, efficient and straight to the point.

Not much more can be said about the Aggregator, besides the fact that it doesn't come with any complicated menus and the only thing you can modify is the aggregation method (by extension, file type, modification date, creation date or mime type) and you can choose to include days when aggregating by date, recurse folders and set the application to automatically exit after the process is completed.

Overall, Aggregator is a small Mac application that is worth trying if you want a simple way to group files based on their external attributes in no time.
