Adobe Audition is a complex audio editing program, designed to suffice the professionals' need of innovative and powerful audio editing features. The installation process is a bit tedious, lasts several minutes and it's done through the Adobe Creative Cloud.
Aesthetically, the program has a modern design, with the main interface comprised of multiple windows and toolbars. The buttons design is pretty standard, the customization options are numerous, but the fonts look a bit too small. Also, it requires a high-end system to work properly.
With Adobe Audition, professionals can use the Strip Silence to automatically identify and remove silent or inactive regions in recorded clips, but with no loss regarding synchronization in multitrack audio. In addition, there's a new loudness meter that comes with industry standard ITU-based loudness monitoring for broadcast, podcast, and streaming media content. Also, because it now runs on Apple M1 ARM, the performance of the recording process and the mixing quality has increased considerably.
To summarize, Adobe Audition is a powerful tool that professionals can use to edit audio content and mix various audio tracks.
