AddressBook Cleaner 2.8

This application is, as its name suggests, a program designed to help you clean up your address book.

Its goal is to find any duplicated contacts within Mac's Address Book app and remove them permanently from your records to keep only unique contacts.

Before starting the scanning process, you can select the proper match conditions, such as Nick Name, Home Phone Number, Department, etc. Then the program starts looking for duplicates within the Address Book app and offers you a list with the results.

You can also narrow down the results by opting for additional search filters, such as City, Street Address, Match Whole Phone Number, and many others.

If the app finds any duplicated contacts, it displays all identical entries and lets you preview the information so that you know exactly which contacts need to be removed. An advantage of AddressBook Cleaner is that it allows you to back up all contacts before deleting the duplicates.
