Adapter is a program designed for Mac that enables you to convert videos, images, and audio files from a single window.

This application works with a wide variety of media formats, comes with an integrated player to preview or pre-listen the input files, supports batch processing, and much more.

You can use this program whenever you need to extract soundtracks from movies, generate ringtones, convert clips to formats compatible with your tablet, and much more. Adapter also comes in handy if you wish to resize and convert multiple images to fit a certain pattern. You can import as many files as you like and wait just a few moments for the results.

Another advantage is that you can use the built-in player to compare the original videos with the resulting clips. This way, you can see exactly how the film is altered and check if it matches your expectations.

You also have access to various output configurations which can be accessed after clicking the gear icon. The app lets you select the preferred bit rate, audio encoder, video resolution, and many other parameters. I also like the fact that you can attach subtitles to your movies and watermarks to personal pictures.

The one thing that bothers me is that you cannot choose individual output profiles when batch converting files.

As for the rest, I was very impressed by this simple yet efficient Mac program. Hence, it's definitely worth installing this free application on your Mac if you ever need to easily convert videos, audio files, and images to various formats.
