Skitch is a Mac utility designed to help you take screenshots and export them to various image formats. The program also gives you access to a wide variety of image editing options, lets you share the resulting snapshots directly from its interface, and allows you to print screenshots with just a few clicks.
This application might come in handy if you need to capture images of your desktop and annotate them before sharing the results with other users. You can choose between multiple screen capturing modes and edit the resulting snapshots by adding text content to images, cropping the pictures or attaching geometrical shapes to the screenshots.
Once you finish editing your snapshot, you can share it via email or Facebook account, print it directly from the app's menu or export it as an image file to your local folders. An advantage is that you can also import photos from your Mac and annotate them.
Only two things bother me: you need to make an in-app purchase to unlock the PDF markup feature and the fact that the program occasionally runs slow, especially when trying to print snapshots.
This application might prove to be of good use to people who need to take snapshots often and share the results with other users. It offers you many useful features, provides you with quality output files, and is very simple to handle. I'd say it's worth giving it a try if none of the aforementioned issues means much to you.

Since i downloaded Skitch I haven't made a single screenshot without editing it in this program. i don't think it's a must-have cause you could easily do without it. but if you download it, you'r gonna use it on a daily basis.
