XnSketch is a simple program for Mac that transforms your favorite pictures into sketches or cartoon images. After saving the resulted photos, you can share them directly from the application's interface via email, Flickr, Picasa, Imgur, and many other.
The app supports a wide range of input formats, such as JPEG, PSD, DNG, TIFF, etc. After you select the proper photo from your pics' collection, you can apply one of the offered visual effects and preview the output files.
An advantage of XnSketch is that it allows you to configure the image settings according to your needs. More exactly, you can adjust levels for saturation, contrast or exposure, and rotate the pictures. The only aspect that bothers me about this application is the fact that it supports only two output formats, JPEG and PNG.
As for the rest, the program brings an easy-to-use interface, a very useful preview window, and high quality output files. And since you don't have to pay to work with this application, I'd say it's definitely worth a try.
