This utility was created to help Android smartphone and tablet owners transfer the data between their gadgets and their Macs. The application works with mobile phones and tablets from many different brands, supports batch processing, and immediately completes the given tasks.
As soon as an Android device is being connected to your Mac and the app is launched, Wondershare MobileGo for Android Pro immediately starts scanning the data within the gadgets and nicely organizes it into categories based on file types. You can use the integrated search tool to immediately find the files you wish to back up to your Mac.
What's more, the application also enables you to transfer data from your Mac to your Android smartphone or tablet.
Unfortunately, this program comes with many flaws. For starters, it doesn't feature a built-in media player which might come in handy when identifying which media files to transfer from the connected Android device and your Mac. Furthermore, the app supports a small amount of file types when it comes to transferring data from the device to your Mac. To be more exact, you cannot back up reminders, voicemails, bookmarks, etc.
Another advantage is that the utility doesn't work 100%. For example, it fails to display accurate info about SD cards (there's no SD card inserted in my phone, yet the app displayed that I only have 1GB free space on the SD card) and the Contacts page revealed many empty fields.
In conclusion, I'd say you should try a different Android file manager on your Mac as this program comes with many disadvantages.
