Wondershare MePub is an application that lets you create ePub files. ePub is a format that has gained a lot of popularity recently, mainly because of the advent of eBook readers, especially the iPad.

iBooks is a great eBook reader for the iPad. It supports many formats, but it prefers ePub files. This format has quite a few advantages over PDF and other formats. The first thing that comes to mind is that ePub books usually look great. The main characteristic of ePub files is that they are reflowable. This means that the content can adapt to a specific electronic device or a set of settings. And now let me tell you how Wondershare MePub can help you if you want to create ePub files.

The application is basically a format converter. So, you won't be creating files per se. You can convert them. The supported input formats are DOC, DOCX, PDF, HTML, JPG, JPEG, and a few more. When the app is running, you simply drag and drop the file that you want to convert or add it using the "Add" button. The file will be added to the contents list. You can also add a cover for the book. This can be any image file on your Mac. After you have done that, you can start configuring your ePub file. You can edit the book info (title, author, language, date, subject, publisher, and description), the layout (margins, spacing, etc), and the style (text color, background color, hyperlinks and images). When all of that has been done, you can start the conversion process.

In my testing, I converted a sample, editable PDF file into ePub and added a cover image. The process was quick and the resulting file could be added to iTunes and then to my iPhone without any problems. It looked great on iBooks, too.
