4Media iPad PDF Transfer lets you manage your iPad books. It is an application that you can use to transfer books to your iPad without even using iTunes. This is a compelling feature for many users, since iTunes can take ages to fully sync in slow computers. This app also supports other iOS devices like the iPhone and iPod Touch. The formats supported are PDF and ePUB.
Graphically, this tool looks like all the other "iPad Transfer" apps by 4Media. When you first connect your iDevice, a detailed summary of it will be displayed on the main window. This summary includes information like device type, capacity, version number, serial number, and format, along with how much space is used in audio, video, photos, books, and how much available space there is. Under your device name, on the left, you will see a button that reads "Book". If you click on it, you will see a list of all the books that you have stored on your device. If you want to download one of those to your computer (or directly to iTunes), there are two buttons that you can use at the bottom of the screen. The other button down there allows you to put content on your iDevice. I tried this with PDF and ePub books and it worked flawlessly.
