I had a recording that I was listening with this app and when I pushed the space bar to play it deleted instead so how do I get back?

The first place to look for your recovery is in the folder where Voice Memo - Mind Flow Diary keeps all your recordings, because if you're lucky, it might have a backup of the files. In case it doesn't, another applications needs to be installed. It's called Recuva and help you recover files that have been deleted.
Download and install Recuva, then use the built-in Wizard to specify the search parameters. Tick the Deep Search to allow the software to look deeply in the clusters to find your file. When you find it in the search results, right click it and choose Restore To, but this time pick another partition to avoid additional damage.
