Untold History: Descendant of the Sun Collector's Edition tells the story of a young woman who learns that she's the heir of the most powerful artifact from the world and her destiny is to fulfill an ancient prophecy. Her objective is to locate and protect the scroll of Helios from the hands of an evil nemesis.
The game has Middle-East as a backdrop, plays a fitting background music, and brings nice, colorful scenes. Its hidden object and puzzle mini-games are medium-level and with impressive artworks. You can choose between 2 difficulty levels (Casual or Expert), create as many player profiles as you like, and play in fullscreen or windowed mode.
I like the fact that, unlike other hidden object games I played, the action doesn't take place in an American or Eastern-European landscape. The Middle-East culture and history are nicely implemented in the game, in both artworks and background music. Even some of the hidden objects are somehow connected to the Indian lifestyle.
The storyline was catchy, filled with various plot twist and interesting characters which will offer you assistance or stay in the way of your destiny.
Furthermore, you can unlock an additional chapter after you complete the main quest of the game. You can also download wallpapers with images from the game as well as its background music files directly from the app's main menu.
All in all, Untold History: Descendant of the Sun Collector's Edition is an exciting puzzle game that offers you many challenges and a captivating plot. So, I think you should give it a try if you're into playing this type of games on your Mac.
