UnionCamManager

UnionCamManager 1.53

Monitors video signals from up to 64 different cameras simultaneously.

UnionCam Manager is intended to monitor up to 64 video feeds. It supports multiple types of camera, such as network and USB cameras, as well as capture cards. However, you may need additional software to access some types of sources, like in the case of capture cards. It is good that, if the remote camera supports it, you can pan, tilt, and zoom the image. Likewise, you can configure your camera to automatically capture the place from varying angles.

The application’s interface is not too different from those of other surveillance systems. Most of the space is devoted to showing the streams from the connected cameras while the toolbar on the right lets you manage the camera list as well as change various settings. Luckily, you can configure the grid where cameras are shown in different ways or have extra room by hiding the toolbar or switching to full-screen view.

Fortunately, UnionCam Manager can stream the captured signals to a remote location, via broadcasts in such technologies as QuickTime, RealPlayer and Flash. Likewise, it supports saving video in a wide range of popular formats, like MP4, MOV, ASF, MKV and FLV. What is more, you can configure video parameters to suit your needs and available storage space.

Good news is that you do not need to record everything 24x7, as the tool lets you set specific recording times. In this respect, it is quite convenient that motion and sound detection is supported. Thus, when such an event is triggered, the app can automatically start recording as well as send various types of alerts.

All in all, UnionCam Manager lets you create your own video surveillance system, which can protect your home and office from intruders and other hazards. Although the product supports many feeds, you can pay exactly for the number of channels you need. Luckily, you can try the tool to see if it is what you have been looking for.
