Planning a trip with other people usually means long message threads, scattered links, and last-minute changes. TripTap is used as a shared workspace where everyone can turn ideas into a workable schedule and then lock it in with bookings. You begin by setting the destination, travel dates, and who’s going. From there, you search and add things you actually plan to do—places to stay, flights, meals, tours, and tickets—while the platform keeps options tied to what’s available for your dates.

As the plan takes shape, you move items around to build days that fit your pace and location. Swap a restaurant if a time shifts, move an activity to another day, or add a new stop without rebuilding the whole trip. The itinerary updates as you make edits, so the group always sees the latest version whether they’re looking at a schedule view, a map, or a calendar. This is especially useful when coordinating arrival times, transit gaps, or overlapping interests across the group.

When decisions are made, TripTap is used to book directly inside the same trip plan instead of bouncing between tabs. Confirmations, tickets, and reservation details stay attached to the itinerary, which makes it easier to share responsibilities, track what’s already booked, and avoid duplicate purchases. The result is a single, living plan that supports both planning and execution—from first draft to ready-to-go travel schedule.
