Tipard Video Converter for Mac 3.6

Tipard Video Converter for Mac is a very nice video converter. It is a complete video conversion application that has lots and lots of different video conversion profiles for various devices.

It has support for the most popular video and audio formats, including AVI, MP4, MPG, MOD, TOD, MOV, MKV, WMV, DivX, XviD, MPEG-1/2, 3GP, 3G2, VOB, MPV, and FLV. The app also has a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and adjust their brightness, contrast and saturation. You can also use it to add a watermark to your videos.

This converter has a very nice user interface. It is smooth and very intuitive. There is a video player for quick video previews and support for taking snapshots. The conversion profiles are all very accessible and well organized.

In my testing, I used a 720p MKV file and I chose the iPad 2 profile. The conversion process was very quick and the resulting file looked good.

Perhaps, the only thing that I don't like about this app is that it uses an installation wizard. That and the fact that although it is stated that this app can add subtitles to your files, the feature is nowhere to be found.
