To select a file, you simply have to check a box next to it and click on the transfer button at the bottom of the screen. You can also select where you want to save the files. Additionally, you can transfer files straight to iTunes.

This app comes with an audio player that lets you preview your files before you transfer them. You could also use this to listen to the music on your iOS device when you can't access it with iTunes.
