Tiles is a very nice and challenging puzzle game for the Mac. There are different modes in which you can play the game. The puzzle can have lower-case letters, upper-case letters and even numbers, on a 3x3 or 5x5 grid. In the puzzle, you will see letters or numbers out of order, and you should re-arrange them to the correct order. The catch is that there is only one free tile, and you're able to move the numbers or letters around by just moving them to the free tile and re-arranging them. This sounds easy, but it is very hard. I know there are some people with a specific mind set who will have no problems solving this puzzle. But the average human being will struggle a bit. I know I did.
Tiles is played in full-screen mode. The graphics are very nice and the puzzle plays smoothly. The speed at which you can move the tiles is only limited to the speed how fast you can click on the tiles.
At only $0.99, Tiles is a great game to install on your Mac. It is fun to play and it can be challenging.
