Throne of Olympus is an enjoyable game in which you need to fight a series of gods to prove your father that you deserve the throne of Olympus. In order to defeat them, you will need to play match-3 games. In every game, you will need to swap adjacent gems in order to align three or more of the same color and make them disappear from the board. With every match you create, you harm your enemy a bit. However, you should try to collect the gems that help you activate a power that generates more harm. The more gems a match has, the more harm it produces. The game is played in turns, so your opponents will also have a chance to defeat you, too. You will notice a bar over the players head, which shows the harm produced so far. When the bar is depleted, it means that you have defeated your enemy, or vice versa.
Unfortunately, the game offers only one mode, but there are three difficulty levels to choose from. Graphics leave a lot to be desired, as they look very simple and a bit poor. Sounds are very simple, too; and the music is suitable, but very repetitive.
In short, if you want to pass the time playing a match-3 game with a different twist, and you do not mind the poor graphics, Throne of Olympus may be just fun.
