SuperTab is a simple Mac utility that can be installed in the System Preferences panel of your OS X.

The tool comes as an alternative to using the Command+Tab keys to access the applications that are currently running on your computer.

Besides giving you quick access to the programs that are operating on your Mac, this program also provides you with a simple way to open recent documents, Dock apps, etc. In its menu from the System Preferences panel you will find options to define global hotkeys, settings for customizing the appearance of the SuperTab window, etc.

Every time you will hit the Command+Tab keys a small window will appear on your desktop that will give you access to recent items, Dock apps, and running programs. You can customize the given lists by arranging them in any order you like or removing them completely from the panel.

I like the fact that you can also access the SuperTab panel by moving your mouse to one of the corners of your desktop.

Another great thing is that it doesn't slow down the performance of your system while it's running. The app never shuts down, it runs in the background at all times.

All in all, I think you should give this app a try. It might prove to be of good use if you're working with multiple programs at once and wish to immediately get access to the apps you need.
