Star Watermark is a Mac application that provides you with a simple solution for personalizing your pictures.

This program allows you to add text or image watermarks to your photos, offers you simple-to-configure output settings, and lets you process multiple pictures simultaneously.

After you select your input files, you can choose from various output profiles and customize their settings according to your requirements. The application lets you choose the proper watermark orientation, location, opacity level, text style (if you're opting for a text watermark), and many others.

Furthermore, there's also an option that, once enabled, automatically resizes all input pictures in compliance with the width and height values of your choice.

Another good aspect about this image tool is that you can preview your results before exporting them to the desired output format. What's more, the application immediately modifies input files and offers you high-quality results.

My only issue with this app is that it doesn't allow you to load some pictures which were taken with digital cameras. For instance, I wasn't able to select HDR and DNG images as input files.

With that being said, I'd say it's worth trying this program on your computer if you wish to easily watermark personal pictures. The application brings a straightforward interface, supports batch processing and drag-and-drop action, and offers you the quality results you require within moments.
