Sports on Stamps is a collection of scanned postal stamps. The application has information on 47 different Summer and Winter Olympics. The first one listed took place in 1896, in Athens, Greece. The graphical user interface consists of two panes, and a field where the scanned stamps are displayed. At the top, there are four buttons that let you navigate the information provided by the app. On the right pane, the two buttons are "Previous Olympics" and "Next Olympics". The Olympic games are sorted in chronological order and there is a drop-down menu that you can use to go to any of the 47 events directly. The right pane will show information about the Olympics selected, and, on the right, you will see a scanned image of the stamp of that event. If there are multiple stamps, you will be able to select them on the left pane.
Baseball and Football fans also have something to like in this application. The two buttons on top of the left pane let you access a collection of baseball and football stamps. There aren't many, but you can see all the names of the players featured in them in a list.
In short, if you collect stamps or have an interest in them, this app will surely catch your eye.
