Spectre is the leading multi-instrument, real-time audio analyzer for OS X, packed with 20 different multi-channel and multi-trace meters including Level, VU, Spectrograph, Oscilloscope and Spectrogram.
Spectre makes metering as beautiful as it is useful. Design, speed, accuracy, and dependability are all central to SpectreSpectre is an application designed for all users looking for a solid audio analyzer. The utility offers a total of eighteen meters to choose from, all with an elegant and customizable design. In fact, you can add as many meters you want on the desktop as the only limitation is the size of your screen.

With this tool, Mac users are able to thoroughly analyze audio input. Not only that, but Spectre detects audio input from network sources thanks to the integration of both Apple AUNetSend and AUNetReceive Audio Unit.

The Spectre Meter Assistant will guide users through the process of creating multiple meters. When creating the meter list, the application will display information regarding all available meters. All these items are comprehensively grouped as Level Meters, VU Meters, BBC Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrographs, Spectrograms, Lissajous Meters and many more. Simply go through all the groups and add the desired meters to the list.

From the program's Preferences panel, users can set specific gradient colors and ballistic values.

Spectre has a slick and modern design that offers smooth meter transitions. The utility runs fast provided you know your own system's hardware limitations. Overall, this is a great product aimed at all music lovers.
