Space Prisoner is a shooter game in which you command a spaceship and you will have one mission per level. In most of them you will need to rescue hostages of the enemy forces that may be hidden in asteroids or planets. However, this task is not very easy because there are lots of enemy ships trying to prevent you from accomplishing your goals. The ships and other enemy objects move really fast, so it's not so easy to kill them.
The space is represented in a multidimensional cube and its walls represent the boundaries. You can navigate throughout the cube using the arrow keys and there are other keys for thrusters, weapons, views, etc. Sadly, the game offers very poor and old-looking graphics, sounds are average, and the music is suitable. There are no customization options whatsoever, so you will need to adjust to the fixed controls.
In short, even though the game doesn't look very nice, it can be very enjoyable and challenging, so I recommend that you should try it and decide if it works for you.
