SJ Screen Saver is a smart application that allows you to set a security screen saver on your Mac computer. If most similar programs consist in providing more or less exquisite and dynamic screen saver appearances, with this program you can select any picture from your image library and enable it straight away by using hotkeys.

The tool installs as a small icon placed on your Mac's upper bar. The main purpose of this utility is to lock your desktop as fast as possible by means of preset key combinations – therefore, you should not expect to be offered sophisticated screen saver images, since the protection of your computer activity is the goal of the application. The program allows you to configure hotkeys to lock the screen immediately, as well as to shut down your computer if the situation requires it. Unfortunately, you can't use any of the keys on your keyboard to block the screen view or to turn off your computer system, as you are limited to using only the Shift, Control, Alt, and F1 to F12 buttons.

Disabling the screen saver requires typing a password that you set previously. The program comes with smart features that refer to password tries – namely, you can determine the time allowed to enter the correct password after a mistype, as well as the number of tries in case you enter the password incorrectly. If the number of tries is exceeded, then your computer will shut down instantly.

All these options make SJ Screen Saver an interesting and out of the ordinary screen saver tool. It is designed to protect the privacy of your computer activity and to prevent crucial information from prying eyes.
