Singlemizer 3.0

Singlemizer is a duplicate-files finder and manager. It has a very nice graphical user interface that makes the process of scanning for duplicates much easier.

Instead of selecting a folder on your hard drive, you can simply drag and drop it onto the application. You can add as many folders as you want. You can also add files if you want. When you have added all the folders that you want, you can start the scan. You will start getting results immediately (if there are any duplicate files), and you can start managing files individually. Or, you can wait for the scan to complete and manage all the duplicates at once.

When a scan is completed, Singlemizer will show you the original file and all the duplicates that it has found. For each duplicate, you have different options. You can move the duplicates to the trash, or replace them with an alias, a symlink or a hardlink to the original. You can also force the files to be deleted.

Singlemizer has support for quick-look, which allows you to see a preview of the files on the scan results list by simply pressing the space bar.

In short, Singlemizer is a nice, quick and intuitive way to scan your folders for duplicate files.
