Serviio-Console is a program that provides individuals the means to stream multimedia files from their Mac computer to a smartphone, tablet, video game console, or TV. It only requires DLNA-compatible devices, a computer, and minimum computer skills.

At first look, its interface has a standard appearance, with lots of menu tabs on the left-hand side and a working area on the other side of the screen. Yet, there are some unused screen spaces and the menu tabs' font style could've been bolder.

As you start using it, you discover that it comes with a wide array of localized library browsing options and a plugin system capable of supporting streaming for non-trivial online sources.

Serviio-Console supports automatic rendered detection, subtitles, and RAW camera images. Also, it can be integrated with track.tv and can be used to extract metadata from your media files, like local metadata, tags, XBMC, or Swisscenter.

The streamable content includes image, audio, and video files, but Serviio-Console also supports video thumbnails, CD covers, or DVD posters.

In conclusion, Serviio-Console represents an effective way to broadcast multimedia files from your computer to other compatible devices.
