The program allows you to make videos of your desktop. You can record your actions in programs on Mac and then share it with your friends. The program supports multiple formats, and the videos can be annotated. The resulting video can easily be uploaded by you to some video hosting sites, like YouTube.
The archive includes the application itself and a couple of text documents. The developers do not suggest you move the application to your Application drawer, but you can certainly do so. When you run the app for the first time, you will be greeted by a window asking you to enter a code, get a code, and cancel. For the trial version of the program, just hit the Cancel button. Trial version limitation is absence of the voice record feature.
The program's interface is very straight forward. Program's simplicity is additionally proven by the fact that it's missing any preferences. On the other hand, the registered version might introduce some preferences, but I did not find any information about it.
The movie can be scaled to a customized height and width. Frame rate can also be adjusted. You may choose different codecs for your videos, including MP4V, Cinepak, and H263.
Overall, there is nothing complicated about this program. But I think it is a little bit overpriced for its look and its functionality. The good thing is that you can try it before you buy.
